Removing the dewclaws…

This afternoon, we took the pups for a rather painful, however, necessary (especially for working dogs) manicure and pedicure to the vet, removing their dewclaws.

The pups were sitting in their heat box while mama Fruska followed them like a shadow on leash into the office.  Dr Ellwell and nurse Tracy were smooth and fast.

Fruska did the quality control by sniffing every pup after the procedure.

wow this pup has doubled up with dewclaws
